Hello, my name is Dan, and I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor for 6 years now. Integrative counselling means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques, tailoring each session to meet your individual needs. I work with both individuals and couples, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore the challenges you are facing.
I understand how difficult life can feel when you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, addiction, or other emotional and mental health difficulties. At times, life can become overwhelming, stressful, and hard to manage. My aim is to help you understand your experiences, work through the challenges you face, and develop healthier ways of coping so that you can feel more fulfilled, in control, and content in your life.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You may have been considering therapy for some time, but feel unsure about how to begin. Perhaps you don’t feel comfortable talking to friends or family, or maybe you feel that you have no one you can truly open up to. Whatever your situation, I offer a warm, empathetic environment where you can talk openly and honestly without fear of judgement.
Our counselling sessions will focus on you, your experiences, and your goals. I am based in Sleaford and offer face-to-face, online, and telephone counselling, allowing you to access support in the way that feels most comfortable for you.
I have been running my private practice for over six years and have worked with hundreds of clients from a wide range of backgrounds. I specialise in working with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, autism, and ADHD. I also have a particular interest in men’s mental health and encouraging more men to access the support they need through therapy.
I recognise that reaching out for help is not always easy, but you do not have to face your struggles alone. If you are ready to take the next step, I will do my very best to help you feel safe, supported, and comfortable as we work together on your journey towards positive change.
If you would like to find out more or arrange an appointment, please get in touch by email. I look forward to hearing from you

Why Clients Choose to Work With Me
Choosing the right counsellor is one of the most important decisions you can make when seeking support. You need someone you feel comfortable with, someone who listens without judgement, and someone who has the experience to help you navigate whatever you’re facing.
My aim is to provide a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, addiction, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, we can work together to help you better understand what’s happening and find a way forward.
Over the past six years in private practice, I have supported hundreds of clients through a wide range of personal challenges. I have a particular interest in men’s mental health and am passionate about helping men feel more comfortable accessing support and talking openly about their struggles.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked with survivors of sexual abuse through Trust House and supported clients affected by trauma through the Lincoln Trauma Centre. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how difficult experiences can impact our lives, relationships and sense of self.
As a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person is unique, which is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to help you achieve meaningful and lasting change.
