About me

Hello, I’m Dan, an experienced Integrative Counsellor. Being an integrative counsellor means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques, allowing me to tailor counselling to your individual needs and circumstances.

I understand how challenging life can feel when you’re struggling with your mental health or facing difficulties that seem overwhelming. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a supportive space where you can explore what’s going on for you. My aim is to help guide you through these challenges and support you in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.

Our counselling sessions will focus on you and your unique needs. I believe that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is essential, and I strive to provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental environment where you feel safe to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I am based in Sleaford and offer counselling sessions face-to-face, online, and by telephone. This flexibility allows you to access support in a way that feels most comfortable and convenient for you.

Sometimes life can feel difficult, confusing, or lonely. You may feel unable to talk to friends or family, or perhaps you would prefer to speak with someone independent who can listen without judgement. Counselling can provide a dedicated space for you to be heard, understood, and supported as you work through whatever is troubling you.

Over the past five years in private practice, I have worked with hundreds of clients from a wide range of backgrounds and with a variety of presenting issues. In addition to my private practice experience, I have supported survivors of sexual abuse through my work at Trust House in Grantham and have worked with clients experiencing trauma at the Lincoln Trauma Centre.

As a DBS-checked counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 383112), I am committed to providing ethical, professional, and compassionate support throughout your counselling journey
